Words from our supporters Inter Pares publishes a Bulletin four times a year in order to keep our donors in touch with the work they are supporting. We invite supporters to comment on the Bulletins and we always respond to questions personally. Below are quotes from recent letters from our supporters.
"It is true that these are troubled times, when hope is often hard to see. But contributing in spirit and joining in solidarity with those who articulate a shared vision is a tonic and a source of hope. Thank you, Inter Pares, for your perseverance and continued inspiration."
Stephen, Calgary, Alberta
"Thank you for your great work and the inspiring stories of hope and justice, especially these days when the powers of the world seem bent on destruction."
Brenda, Regina, Saskatchewan
"Your letter was a powerful reminder to me of the kind of world I want to have, and of my responsibility to help make it happen. I cannot thank you enough for the spirit of community, and the extra charge of energy and inspiration I feel from reading your letter."
Kim, Coquitlam, British Columbia
"During these times when conflict seems so prevalent, I find that I need to do something that has meaning, that affirms my values. This world needs more organizations like yours."
Joyce, Vancouver, British Columbia
"We are proud to be a small part of your efforts, very often moved by the stories of lives so unlike our own, educated about the causes and solutions to the world's inequities, and inspired to do more as we are able."
Anne Marie, London, Ontario
"Your March Bulletin just came in and once again moved me deeply and gave me the courage to go on with my work in the peace movement... You summed up the tragedy we now live with worldwide but also offered hope that it is being understood and dealt with in many places. Your work is so important."
Joanna, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
"Whenever I have been on the edge of darkness, I try to review some of the statements you have submitted with your Annual Report... So besides the significant contribution Inter Pares is making through projects it is part of, I wanted to confirm what you already know - that your words nurture my spirit and assist me in coping with the darkness. Thank you for your gift of insight, your commitment, and your epistles."
