Where's the money for global health? news : Updates February 13, 2026 Share Print A critical element of health care is the resourcing. Who pays? And where does the money come from? How can health facilities consistently and permanently fund their operations, especially those working on highly stigmatized issues such as delivering sexual and reproductive health? How can quality services be maintained, given the whims of donors around global health funding? In this webinar, we explore these issues and more by presenting the work of Likhaan Center for Women’s Health, based in Metro Manila and Eastern Samar, the Philippines. Likhaan and Inter Pares are implementing the Global Affairs Canada-funded project, Sustainable and Transformative Action to Realize SRHR. Sustainable health financing is a major pillar of this initiative. Inter Pares has supported Likhaan since their founding in 1995. Watch This webinar was recorded on January 21, 2026 and features Alfredo Melgar (Likhaan Center for Women's Health, the Philippines) and Ronith Susi (Likhaan Center for Women's Health, the Philippines) and is moderated by David Bruer (Inter Pares).
