Gender justice and women’s rights

ABOUT GENDER JUSTICE AND WOMEN'S RIGHTS

Gender-based violence and inequality are deeply rooted in society.

Women and people of marginalized genders are often devalued. This discrimination shows up in many ways, including physical and sexual violence, exclusion from politics, lack of access to education and economic marginalization.

OUR WORK ON GENDER JUSTICE AND WOMEN'S RIGHTS

Our work is centred around promoting women’s rights and gender equality.

We work with our counterparts to create conditions under which women and people of marginalized genders can thrive. Our programs support personal autonomy, political voice and the right to shape one’s own future free from pressure or control.

Through our focus on women’s rights, LGBTQI+ rights, gender-based violence and sexual and reproductive health and rights, we aim to address the root causes of violence and its impacts.
