Our Work: By region Canada About this region Canada has great human, economic, and natural resources, as well as strong democratic traditions, but there are serious inequalities and injustices within the nation that demand strategic and principled action from the public, the government, and civil society organizations. Our programs guide Canada towards being a leader in poverty-reduction, human rights, and social justice here and abroad. Our Work on this region Inter Pares collaborates with social justice and development organizations in Canada, working in coalitions or on programs to build capacities, increase policy effectiveness, and engage Canadians. We link international issues and counterparts with issues and activists in Canada. In doing so, we build relationships, facilitate shared learning, and help to bring about social change.
