Celebrate International Women's Day with Inter Pares!

Join us for tea and treats on Sunday March 8th, and hear from Program Manager Rebecca Wolsak and four activists from Burma. We are thrilled to welcome these four incredible women to Ottawa right around IWD.

This will be a casual and relaxed gathering. An informal presentation by the international visitors will be followed by discussion and conversation about women's rights, peace processes and Canadian solidarity with Burma.

Inter Pares has worked with over 50 counterpart organizations in Burma for over 20 years. Read more about our program in Burma.

Pippa Curwen is the Founder of the Burma Relief Centre, an NGO based in Burma and Thailand. BRC supports the development of community-based organizations, mainly in the ethnic states of Burma.

What to do if you'd like to attend

Please RSVP to jack@interpares.ca or Kathryn at kdingle@interpares.ca. We will confirm and provide you with the address of our hosts, Bill van Iterson and Shari McGuigan.

Feel free to bring along a friend to this gathering. It will help us widen the circle and meet new people who may be interested in Inter Pares’ work!
