Volunteer
Sharon Nyangweso: volunteering at the 2014 International Women's Day event

Volunteering for Inter Pares is a great way to contribute to our social justice work, and to help build a better common future.

How do I get involved?

  1. Scroll down to read the current list of volunteer opportunities. Inter Pares offers volunteer opportunities that are time-limited as well as ongoing responsibilities. If you don't see a match for your interests but would still like to volunteer, fill out and return the volunteer questionnaire. We may have a volunteer opportunity that you could get involved with in the future.
  2. Download and fill out our volunteer questionnaire, and send it back to us by e-mail
  3. Our volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you within two weeks to discuss your interest in volunteering.
  4. If there are no current needs identified for volunteer projects, or there is no current staff capacity, you will be kept in mind for future volunteer activities.
  5. We may ask you to provide a writing sample if necessary to the volunteer project.
  6. Sign up for the monthly Inter Pares e-newsletter, and follow us on FacebookTwitter, Instagram and YouTube to keep up with our activities, videos, and social justice news and events.
