I Am Rohingya: A Genocide in Four Acts (en anglais) news : Updates April 13, 2018 Share Print Inter Pares est ravie d'annoncer la tournée canadienne du documentaire poignant « I Am Rohingya : A Genocide in Four Acts » qui raconte le périple de quatorze jeunes réfugiés Rohingya revivant les expériences bouleversantes de leurs familles en Birmanie et ailleurs. Basé sur une pièce de théâtre primée du même nom, ce documentaire plonge le public dans la vie personnelle des artistes en documentant les défis rencontrés et leur ajustement à leurs nouvelles vies au Canada, tout en explorant l'histoire et la culture du « peuple le plus persécuté sur terre ». Inter Pares est fière d'avoir soutenu le projet de développement du film depuis la mi-2017. Nous commanditons également sa publicité et sa distribution, en plus de co-organiser la projection du documentaire à Ottawa. Mariant droits humains, expériences des réfugiés et action internationale, ce projet illustre l'interdépendance qui nous unit tous et toutes. À travers notre programme en Birmanie, nous cherchons à tisser des liens comme celui-ci et à sensibiliser les Canadiennes et les Canadiens aux préoccupations relatives aux droits de la personne en Birmanie.
