Mines Alerte Canada counterpart Share Print Mines Alerte Canada doit sa création à des organisations préoccupées par la justice sociale et le sort de l'environnement qui s'inquiétaient de l'impact des activités minières sur l'environnement, ainsi que sur les moyens d'existence et la sécurité des personnes et des communautés vivant dans les régions minières. Fondée en 1999, Mines Alerte rassemble des groupes environnementaux, des organisations autochtones, des juristes spécialistes et des activistes pour la justice sociale des quatre coins du Canada dans le but de réagir aux dangers découlant des politiques et pratiques en vigueur dans l'industrie minière au Canada et dans le monde entier. Inter Pares est fière de faire partie des cofondateurs et d’être membre de Mines Alerte Canada. Inter Pares offre sa collaboration et fournit un appui financier, organisationnel à l’organisation, tout en participant aux initiatives de collecte de fonds.
