How Global Affairs Canada can become a feminist funder resources : Briefs Share Print This short brief presents summary recommendations to Global Affairs Canada about how it can deepen the vision laid out in its Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) and become a more fully feminist donor. The brief, which was submitted to Minister of International Development in December 2020, follows up on a report co-published in July 2020 by the Women's Rights Policy Group (including Inter Pares) and Cooperation Canada. The report was the result of a survey aimed at gathering the sector’s experiences with applying for the first wave of Women's Voice and Leadership (WVL) - FIAP's flagship program. The report's observations and recommendations go beyond WVL, however, and aimed to help GAC accomplish its goal of becoming a more feminist funder. Download (pdf 989.25 KB)
