Coalition canadienne de la santé counterpart Share Print La Coalition canadienne de la santé (CCS) se consacre, depuis 1979, à l'amélioration de notre régime public de santé. Formée de syndicats, d'églises, ainsi que de groupes du troisième âge, de femmes, d'étudiantes, d'étudiants, de consommateurs et de professionnels de la santé, la Coalition travaille en priorité à la mise en oeuvre d’une vision large du système de santé canadien portée par Tommy Douglas. La CCS joue un rôle clé dans l’analyse des politiques de soins de santé au Canada, réunissant des acteurs provenant de partout au pays qui croient en sa mission et qui croient en l’importance de la sensibilisation et la mobilisation des canadiennes et des canadiens, y compris les décideurs. La CCS s’attaque à d’importants enjeux tels que l’assurance maladie, les soins aux personnes âgées, la privatisation, l’Accord national sur la santé, la dérèglementation et le financement de la santé.
