Centro de Derechos de la Mujer de Chiapas (CDMCH) counterpart Share Print The Centro de Derechos de la Mujer de Chiapas (Centre for Women's Rights in Chiapas) provides training of women human rights defenders, as well as legal support for women victims of violence. The center is based in San Cristobal de las Casas but assists and supports local women collectives across the state. Its goal is to build a human rights culture that contributes to advancing equality amongst gender, class and ethnicity in Chiapas, especially in indigenous and rural communities, through the promotion of an active citizenship.
