Nasya is a Latin America Program Manager. With over 10 years of engagement in South America, Nasya is an experienced program manager, researcher, and writer. She adopts a feminist decolonial approach to her work in international development, gender, and environmental and social justice. Nasya completed her PhD at the Department of Geography & Planning at Queen’s University (Canada) in 2019.

Her work focused on the remunicipalization of water services in Bolivia. She has since collaborated with the Municipal Services Project and the transnational feminist collective GenUrb. She has recently published a book, Water Governance in Bolivia: Cochabamba since the Water War, and her work also appears in Social & Cultural Geography, Water, and Revue Caminando.

In her free time, Nasya enjoys exploring new places, getting lost in the woods/mountains, knitting up a storm, and anything food-related.
